Terms of Service

By accessing or using Joboscope (“the Service”), operated as a sole proprietorship, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Joboscope regarding your use of the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

You may use Joboscope to:

• Import a public job post into your private application workspace.
• Use the ATS resume checker and resume builder for personal career purposes.
• Track your job applications in your personal tracker.

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download job data without written permission.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or database.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or paid feature gates.
• Use imported content for unlawful or infringing purposes.

Joboscope lets you import public job-post URLs for personal application planning. We do not post, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of third-party content. Verify the role on the employer's site before applying. Joboscope is not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer.

The ATS resume checker provides algorithmic scoring based on heuristic rules. Scores are indicative only — a high score does not guarantee an interview, and a low score does not mean your resume is bad. Results should be used as one input among many. We make no warranty that following our suggestions will result in employment.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at admin@joboscope.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Starter and Pro features and prices shown on the site are planned offerings. Online checkout is not currently active, and selecting a paid plan does not change your account entitlement. Payment, cancellation, and refund terms will be published before paid subscriptions are accepted.

Joboscope does not currently accept paid subscriptions through the Service, so there are no online subscription charges to refund. If you believe you were charged by someone representing Joboscope, contact us immediately.

Joboscope is a digital-only service. No physical goods are shipped. Available features are delivered electronically in the product.

If an available feature fails, contact admin@joboscope.com for support.

All content, design, and code on Joboscope (excluding third-party job listings) is owned by Joboscope. Job listing content remains the property of the respective employers. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Joboscope is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, missed job opportunities, or reliance on resume scores. Our total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Act 2000. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
